The project Go Alaska is offering unique opportunity to travel and work on one of the most beautiful state of America - Alaska. 

All of our consultants have worked in Alaska for many seasons. Everyone of us have gone through this adventure of life.

Alaskan fishing industry is very developed and requires many workers which fisheries can not get, as of this issue employees started  to come from Europe  and other  countries that are listed  on the USCIS list of eligibility. The employer will cover the cost of your flight to the USA and back, the fee of your American visa and you will get 100$ back as your accommodation expense when you will just arrive to the USA you will need to apply for Social security number. Your food and accommodation will be free of charge during the entire time of your employment.

The work in Alaska requires strong personality and it's for people who are willing to work hard and make good money for a short period of time. 

How does the work look like?

It's a salmon processing job, requires cutting fish, weighting , grading, freezing, packing  and jobs with fish roe fillets and canning. There are various departments of the plant where you will be placed at a general position as a processor. It's not physically hard job however requires standing for many hours at your station. 

How many hours will i work?

Between 0-100 hrs per week. Depends on the volume of fish.

When does the season start? 

Typically the season starts from the middle of June and lasts until the end of August. Winter season from January untill April.

What is the pay rate? 

The pay rate is  from 14.60USD per hour and overtime from 21.90USD per hour. 

How often do I get paid?

You will be getting paid once in two weeks by pay check or direct deposit to your US bank account. 

Where will I be living? 

It is a shared dormitory style accommodation. Depends on the location you will go the rooms are shared between 2-5 people per room with shared bathrooms. Located withing walking distance from the processing plants. 

How much is a flight to the USA? 

Typically is under 1500$ and this is the amount the employer will refund you. 

How much money do I need to pay to become the participant of Go Alaska program? 

You ony cover visa processing fee of 190$ that will be refunded to you by your employer after your arrival to Alaska. 

Will I pay for food and accommodation? 

Depending on the offer, some employers charge a fee for room and board of 15$ per day others provide accommodation and meals are provided to the employers free of charge.
